After forming The Hog Trap LLC in January of 2007, I am happy to report that I have trapped 154 wild hogs in the last 18 months. I have put a real hurt on the hogs on my 250 acres. On my last three tries (10 days) to Wilkinson county I have only caught one hog. It was a 287-pound black boar. Biologists say that you must remove 70% of the hogs yearly to keep them under control. I feel like I have achieved this. This year I have seen my first covey of quail and three turkeys in the swamp. This is great.
In 2008, we will be able to do more consulting work along with leasing, financing, and R/D on new products that we are working on for 2009. I would like to thank all of our customers and the many people that made The Hog Trap LLC the most successful hog trap manufacturing firm in Georgia.
